PACING GUIDE
E = Easy: This is a pace that you could maintain for 2 hours or more. You should be able to hold a conversation at this pace. For some people this may be a walk and for others it may be a jog.
M = Moderate: This is a pace that you could maintain for 30 - 60 minutes. You should be able to talk but you might have to take some deep breaths between sentences.
V = Vigorous: This is a pace that you could only maintain for 30s - 2 minutes. It is very high intensity and is almost maximal effort. You should not be able to hold a conversation at this pace.
S = Sprint: This is the fastest pace possible. Realistically you’ll only be able to maintain this pace for 10 - 30s.
Too cold to run outside?
Not a problem, these workouts can be completed indoors on a treadmill or any other piece of cardio equipment.
